The Substance Abuse treatment programs are based on the 12-step philosophy of Alcoholics Anonymous (AA), Narcotics Anonymous (NA), Gamblers Anonymous (GA) and Alanon. In addition to the Intensive Outpatient treatment, Serenity Mental Health Services offers:
Trained Chemical Dependency Counselors design the class to assist the client to look at consequences associated with their use (i.e., legal, social, family and physical). This class is designed for those who have received alcohol or drug-related legal offenses. Both classes are designed to satisfy requirements for those who are mandated by the court to attend a drug or alcohol educational group. These classes are offered to adolescents and adults, age 18 and over. Serenity Mental Health Services also offers Aftercare services for both adults and adolescents
